Privacy policy for the Fantafeat editorial site

This site is an independent editorial publication. It does not run contests, take deposits, or process personal data beyond what is needed to operate the website. This page explains what we collect, how we use it, and how to reach us.

Last updated: 2026. This privacy policy applies to the editorial site at fantafeatapp.com and to any subpages under that domain. It does not apply to the operator app, which is covered by the operator’s own privacy policy inside the app.

What this site is

Fantafeat is an independent editorial publication. We publish guides, reviews, support articles and match research notes about fantasy cricket. We are not the operator of any fantasy platform and do not process deposits or run contests. Our role is to help readers make better-informed decisions, not to provide the platform itself.

What we collect

Like most websites, we collect basic analytics — page visits, referrer, browser type, approximate location and the time of visit. We do not collect names, email addresses or phone numbers unless you voluntarily submit them through the contact form. We do not request government identifiers, payment details or any financial information.

Cookies: the site uses a small number of cookies to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies and do not share data with third-party advertising networks. Where analytics is enabled, IP addresses are truncated before storage so individual visitors cannot be re-identified from the log.

How we use data

Analytics are used to understand which guides are read and which need rewriting. We aggregate page views to spot topics where the editorial coverage is thin or out of date, then we refresh those pages. Contact form submissions are used only to respond to your enquiry and are not added to any marketing list — we do not run a newsletter.

We do not sell, rent or share any personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not load third-party tracking pixels or ad network tags.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site are commercial destinations (labelled with rel="sponsored"). When you click through and complete a qualifying action, the operator may pay us a referral fee. This does not affect our editorial coverage — we apply the same six review criteria regardless of commercial relationship. The full criteria are listed on the editorial review page.

Data retention

Analytics logs are retained for 26 months and then aggregated or deleted. Contact form submissions are retained for as long as the conversation is active and for up to 12 months afterwards, primarily so we can refer back to a thread if you re-contact us. After that window, messages are deleted.

Children

This site is intended for adults. Real-money fantasy play is restricted to participants aged 18 and over in every Indian state. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data through the contact form, email us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete any personal data you have submitted via the contact form. You can also ask what data we hold about you. Email the editorial team and we will action the request within 30 days. Because we do not run advertising or marketing analytics, there is no separate “do not sell” toggle to manage — we simply do not sell or share data in the first place.

Editorial contact

For privacy enquiries, send a message via the contact page. For corrections or disputes about editorial coverage, the same channel applies. We respond to most messages within seven days; urgent privacy requests are prioritised.

Changes to this policy

Material changes to this policy are noted at the top of the page with a “Last updated” stamp. Routine clarifications and typo fixes are folded in without a banner. If you have subscribed to a conversation with the editorial team, we will notify you of material changes by reply.
